Several of our members and partner companies have recently informed us that they have received letters or requests for payment from the organisation «IHKS, Schweizer Industrie- und Handelskammer», which could lead to confusion with our activities.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Switzerland (CCIS) would like to clarify the following:

1. The CCIS never issues invoices or requests for payment directly to companies, nor does it send any such requests to them.
2. The CCIS has no legal, business or organisational affiliation whatsoever with the organisation «IHKS, Schweizer Industrie- und Handelskammer» and does not commission any third parties to collect payments.
3. Only the 19 cantonal and regional chambers of commerce listed on this website are members of our umbrella organisation and are authorised to collect contributions from their own members and affiliated companies.

We urge companies to exercise the utmost caution and to systematically verify the sender before making any payment. If in doubt, please contact your responsible cantonal chamber of commerce directly.
